1. This story certainly does not say all evangelicals are closet gays. But it does show that they let hate and ignorance set their agenda. Especially the hypocritical hate and ignorance of their prophets. Anyone who reads this story and still believes being gay is a, “choice” or that they are not, “close enough to god” needs a reality check. Republicans say they want to, “protect marriage” and “protect the family”, well gee, that’s what gay couples want also. This country self defines its strength on free choice while it allows the fanatical evangelical movement (tali-baptists) to define everyone’s choices through a co-opted government bent on absolute power. Beware of false prophets.
