I’m very pleased to see someone with Dr. Coye’s expertise and stature in the healthcare field talk about the need for price and quality transparency. Hopefully, she will use her position on Aetna’s Board to push management to significantly expand upon the tentative steps it has already taken in this direction and other insurers, including Medicare and Medicaid, will do likewise.
