Apparently a new and different type of problem has emerged for Boston Scientific’s Taxus stent. In one instance it had problems with its balloon deflation. This follows the big recall story last month, and the particular stent in question was made after changes at the manufacturing plant. For the average Boston Scientific shareholder there are probably a few too many stories like this at the moment.
