    Thank you for this effort. I am quite sure that my life would be different (like, I’d still be married and would have been in less debilitating physical pain for fewer years) if, after a couple of bad surgical experiences, the doctor and/or hospital staff would have said simply, “we are sorry, what can we do to hasten your adjustment, and THANK you for your feedback on the correctible missteps.”

  3. Fantastic! You can feel the frustration and anger and pain in his speech. I am a physician also, and a human. 99 X out of 100 a sore throat is just a sore throat. Patients are not cars and physicians are not computers. I say the same thing in my blog,
