Kent Dicks, CEO, and Kendall Paulsen, Telehealth Solutions lead, at Life 365 showed me their comprehensive set of tools and services for remote patient monitoring, or what I call the “continuous clinic”. Kent did this with MedApps, later acquired by Alere. But at Life 365 he’s building a new approach to getting the tools and platforms easy to use for patients, and also getting that collected data ready for AI systems to monitor patients and enable more immediate care. And Kent & Kendall not only talk about it but they show a deep-water demo with both devices and dashboards of both the monitoring and drug adherence devices. Lucienne Ide, Rimidi
Lucie Ide is a physician running Rimidi, a company helping health systems manage patients with chronic conditions. They extract data from EMRs and transfer this into workflow for care teams, predominantly at ACOs and other risk bearing organizations, but also increasingly with FFS groups using RPM to manage those patients. Their current moves are to continue to extend from their first patient group (diabetes) to all types of chronic patients. Will Boeglin demos TimeDoc Health
Will Boeglin is CEO of TimeDoc Health. It’s one of a new breed of companies supplying the capability for physician groups and health systems (including FQHCs) to deliver CCM (chronic care management) and RPM (remote patient monitoring). Both of those services are now reimbursed by Medicare, and some private plans, but rolling them out and tracking all that activity–not to mention accounting and billing for it–is non-trivial for practices. That is where TimeDoc comes in. Will started the company as part of a med-school project and just raised $48m to really get it going.
