Will Jessica stop laughing? Will we get the intro right? Who knows! 2022 is a big M&A year and this episode is no exception: ThirtyMadison and Nurx have merged, combined they have $300 million in revenue; Concerto Care acquires Crown Health; Kindbody buys Vios Fertility Institute; Calm merges with Ripple Health; Withings buys 8Fit.

No, you can’t start.
Welcome to Health Tech Deals. The show where Jessica DaMassa normally does this part, but she’s can’t because she’s laughing too much. It must be February the 9th, 2022 edition. Possibly? Yes? Maybe? I don’t know. Maybe Jessica will stop laughing after the break.
It’s a wacky world today. Lynne Chou O’Keefe’s Devine Ventures has done 4 deals this week. Calm raises $75m it doesn’t seem to need, Story Health takes on navigation around specialty care, Centivo gets $34m to start a Collective Health rival, Ro moves into the home (literally) bringing diagnostics and Softbank money is back! The lucky recipient of their $80m is DTx company Pear Therapeutics about whom I have almost no opinion… Matthew Holt
Today on Health in 2 Point 00, we have some hot gossip re: Glen Tullman starting his own SPAC. On Episode 161, Jess and I discuss Bind Benefits raising $105 million, BridgeHealth merging with Transcarent and raising $40 million in a Series A, and Loyal raising $12.5 million in a Series A. Jess also asks for my take on a slew of new partnerships between Lyra and Calm, Cigna and MDLive, and Doctor on Demand and CareLinx.—Matthew Holt
