our health informatics analysis in the production of Web-based health
care report cards. The position is part-time (22.5 hrs. per week), and
the work week is flexible.

Position: Data Analyst (P/T)
Working
from IPRO’s Corporate Office located in Lake Success on the
Nassau/Queens border, NY, this individual is responsible for assisting
the Online Services team with data analysis related to public health
reporting and health care transparency. Responsibilities include data
cleaning and validation, analyzing data, and producing and writing
reports. Reports for these studies include some research activity,
survey, audit and facility-specific data reports. In addition, the data
analyst is responsible for coordinating the design and acquisition of
new software applications or databases to enhance department
productivity and will participate in local and national work groups to
improve the efficiency of review and analysis processes. This
individual will develop an expert knowledge of the universe of health
care data.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*
Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly and thoroughly
present quantitative and qualitative review findings to interested
parties with varying technical backgrounds.
* Strong analytical
skills with the ability to prepare cogent analyses using a variety of
statistical, spreadsheet, graphic and database programs.
* Strong
organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work on
numerous projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
* A strong commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to build relationships.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in an analytical, research
or health-related field. A Master’s degree in public admin, public
policy, public health or related social science with course work
including both statistical and process analysis preferred.
*
Experience with relational databases required. Experience in a variety
of software packages, including Access, Excel, MySQL or similar
required.
