MMA Fighting has UFC 261 results for the Usman vs. Masvidal 2 fight card Saturday at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla., live blogs of the main card, and live UFC 261 Twitter updates.

In the main event, Kamaru Usman will try to defend his UFC welterweight title in a rematch against Jorge Masvidal. Usman rolled to a unanimous decision win against Masvidal at UFC 251 this past July.

It’s the big fight MMA fans have been waiting for, as Kamaru Usman faces off against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261 tonight, in a highly-anticipated rematch that promises to go the distance.

Usman vs. Masvidal 2 airs live tonight on ESPN+ and marks the second time the two fighters will meet in less than a year. Usman successfully defended his UFC Welterweight title via unanimous decision over Masvidal at UFC 251 last July. But Masvidal had shown up to the fight as a last-minute replacement for Gilbert Burns. With more training time under his belt — and a previous crack at the champ — Masvidal is expected to be better prepared for the rematch.

When is UFC 261? See Date and Location
UFC 261 takes place tonight, Saturday, April 24 live from VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The event makes the first time UFC will have a live in-person audience in attendance since the coronavirus pandemic hit last March. Tickets to UFC 261 are almost sold out, and the arena is expected to fill its full capacity of 15,000 seats.

Covid protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of the fighters and the fans. If you want to watch UFC 261 live in person, there are still some last minute UFC 261 tickets available on Vivid Seats.

What Time Does UFC 261 Start?
The UFC 261 main card starts at 10pm EST / 7pm PST. The prelims start at 8pm EST / 5pm PST, and the early prelims are on at 6pm EST / 3pmPST.

Jorge Masvidal will again attempt to dethrone welterweight champion Kamaru Usman tonight, as the pair headline UFC 261, nine months after their bout on ‘Fight Island’.

Masvidal (35-14) replaced Gilbert Burns on six days’ notice last July, facing Usman (18-1) after the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’s original challenger tested positive for coronavirus.

An intense weight cut for Masvidal gave way to a unanimous-decision loss, with the Floridian having claimed ever since that night in Abu Dhabi that a full camp would be enough to make amends for that defeat.

‘Gamebred’ will get the chance to prove it in his home state tonight, with 15,000 fans set to enter a full-capacity arena in Masvidal’s home state as the 36-year-old gets what will likely be his last crack at UFC gold.

Elsewhere on the card in Jacksonville, there are two women’s title fights, with Weili Zhang defending her strawweight belt against former divisional champion Rose Namajunas, and Valentina Shevchenko putting her flyweight strap on the line against Jessica Andrade – another former strawweight titleholder.

The UFC 261 live stream is upon us, and it's headlined by a big-time rematch for the welterweight title. Kamaru Usman (the champ) enters as the favorite (-420), and his 18-1 record makes it hard to doubt him. But can Jorge Masvidal end his 17-fight win streak?

The last time they met was last summer, where Masvidal was a late-addition (less than a week out) after Gilbert Burns was removed after testing positive for Covid-19. Usman handled Masvidal via serious grappling that disassembled his foe's offense. That loss broke a three-year winning streak for Masvidal, so he's ready to get his revenge — and fans are eager for a match that isn't settled by judge's decision.
