I’m glad this article highlights the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee. I’ve been donating for a number of years. The mental health situation of elephants is not too far from the mental health of Americans and the reasons for our breakdown is the same as elephants. We spend way too little on mental health issues and would rather spend our money on body bags for victims and prison or capital murder for perps. But hey, we’re ok, we can still shop at Walmart so why worry.
